Mo’mad’s Blasphemy

Posted in Bible Verses at 1:52 am by admin

Many times Muslims claim that Jesus prophesied of Mohammad.  They claim that when Jesus promised a comforter he was talking about Mohammad.  Let’s ignore the fact that John 14:25,26 clearly states, “These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Why do the Muslims believe that Mohammad is the Comforter?

Well because the name Mohammad is translated as, “praised one” and in Greek the phrase, ‘praised one,’ is ’periklutos.’  This is similar to the Greek word for comforter, paracletos.  Good thing the Bible is the most manuscripted ancient document and the thousands of manuscripts all say paracletos or paraclete. The names just sound similar.

At the end of the day the Bible states, if an angel comes down from heaven and gives you a new religion, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8) Mo’mad must have missed this verse.

But to digress, what does this have to do with blasphemy, I actually haven’t explained that yet. I would define blasphemy as corrupting the name of God. One of the forms of blasphemy is claiming to be God. When the Jews heard Jesus claiming to be God they accused him of blasphemy. (John 10:30-39) (Muslims claim Jesus never said he was the son of God. They say he only claimed to be the “son of man.” Matthew 8:20)

Jesus said something interesting about blasphemy, he said any form of blasphemy can be forgiven, whether blasphemy against the Father or blasphemy against the Son.  But blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven neither in this world nor that to come. (Matthew 12:31,32)

So as it would seem, no Muslim (anyone who takes the Koran seriously) can go to heaven…assuming they have read this blog. (Acts 17:30, James 4:17) Sorry ’bout that. So don’t get caught saying Mohammad is the Holy Spirit, there is no forgiveness for that!

Can I call you Joe?

Posted in thoughts at 2:42 am by admin

I just though it was funny that in the beginning of the debate with Joe Biden, Sarah Palin asked, “Can I call you Joe?”  This was probably a ploy, I don’t think she actually called him Joe in the debate. The news announcer, David Gregory, said what I was thinking so I had to blog about it. I don’t think she actually called him Joe during the debate. Still it’s good she doesn’t believe in evolution or gay people but other than that I wouldn’t vote for her if I was a citizen.

I think the non-citizen is an under-appreciated demographic. No one plays to us, what if we become citizens, huh? What would you do then, lol?

P.S. It would have been funny if Joe Biden had said No, Mr. Biden please.

P.S. I am not sure if a ploy is a strategy or a tactic, where’s McCain when you need him?

P.S. I guess she did say, “Say it ain’t so, Joe.”

I am watching the Biden, Palin debate I just got an interesting thought.

What is all this hubbub about global warming?  Regardless of whether or not cars make it hotter, does that really change anything?

What about the whole pollution aspect, even if you don’t believe in global warming, cars still pollute.  So, exactly what is the debate about?

It’s like people who aren’t worried are comfortable as long as they get to breathe cool fresh smog. Boy, that cool smog sounds refreshing on a hot day.  No not really, it actually doesn’t.

Regardless of whether or not global warming is real, factory and car and other forms of pollution are still dangerous.

1 John 5:3

Posted in Bible Verses at 1:27 pm by admin

For this is the love of God,
that we keep his commandments:
and his commandments
are not grievous.

Is it hard to keep the commandments, does it cause you great pain and suffering to actually keep them? Or is it the rejection of temptation that is hard? It is very important to understand whether what we are doing is hard or is it the fact that someone or something is making it hard for us. We should understand that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. (Ephesians 6:12) So when we see people going out of their way to teach us not to keep commandments we should be very suspicious on whether these people are led by God or by other unseen forces.

The Death of a Patriot

Posted in personal at 3:49 am by admin

I had a good friend that died two weeks ago, he wasn’t young or anything. He was 77, he died of a heart attack.  Death is not really something to cry about.  I guess, I was more sad for his wife.  An interesting thing happened in the funeral, a lady that I didn’t really know too well went up and talked about him and how he had all these foster kids and stuff.  Then she said, he used to talk about all his children he never said foster children.  Then once he told her about his son that he always played basketball with. The lady said she was surprised when she finally met me. “I was like, he is the wrong color,” she said. She finally noticed that I wasn’t really his son.

He was 77 but he was active, the last time we played we tied 3 games to 3.  But then again I didn’t say I was a great player.  I didn’t go up and say anything at the funeral because I was uncomfortable, I probably would have had to say. Well, I’m that Nishaun guy that lady was just talking about. Also his real son or his nephews didn’t say anything, their sister and one of his daughters said something though. It was interesting, I had never really lost someone close before.

We had some differences of opinion; usually on politics or religion. He was a patriot, he also like the same football team as me. I think liking the football team is the only thing patriotic about me but then again I’m not a citizen, my mother is though.

He once told me an interesting story, he lived through the segregation days and he told me he would always sit in the back of the movie theater with his black friends and shoot spit balls at everyone down in the front, lol.  Another thing about him is he was a “Pasta Artist” it’s a long story, he painted about 70 something pieces using paint and pasta, he kept them in a little art studio he had made above his garage.  I actually lived up there in the studio for about 2 and a half months.

Initial thoughts and Assumptions

Posted in Evolution's lie at 12:08 pm by admin

Imagine one day a scientist was trying to program a computer to make scientific predictions.  Instead of programming it logically they programmed the computer to believe in evolution, instead of natural decay.  What would happen if that scientist tried to use the computer to create medicine. Would that computer create dangerous medicine because the computer thinks the medicine would magically evolve instead of decaying away?

Remember your Initial Assumption can drastically alter your conclusion.

And the banned plays on…the trilogy

Posted in personal at 12:28 pm by admin

Well they say good things come in threes, I’m not sure who says that but someone does.

Wow, this is the quickest yet, (about an hour) I joined a forum called christianunite or something, I had said I would never join a purely Christian forum and I would stick with Adventist forums for obvious reasons, even Adventists can’t stand my arguments.

But this time I was more innocent, I didn’t actually do anything wrong, or counteroffensive, that is to say I didn’t get into any arguments. According to them I was banned for excessive advertising, it wasn’t because when I post a poem I usually add a link back to the poem, as in,

Dare to Seek
by Nishaun Smith

It was because I have a self published book on my website, which I didn’t link to or anything, I guess this counts to them as advertising, I am sure it is bogus, most likely they read my blog; I tend to figure things out, I think the were offended by my Dear Protestants open letter.  If you read it just right it does seem like a personal stab on a website called Christianunite or whatever. So I think they just didn’t want someone like me in their forum.

The only other real reason they could have possibly banned me is they read through my blog and noticed that I had been banned from two other forums.  But in that case their claim of excessive advertising would be a bold face lie! It is normal for forums to allow you to link back to a personal website, usually if you click on someone’s name in a forum or a blog you can get to their personal website, the funny thing is I actually noticed that in many forums many people are actually selling self published books, so their claim of advertising is definitely a farce. It’s fun to feel innocent, yay! I have to try this more often!

The funny thing is on a personal note I really had no intention of advertising anything, I actually just hope for more website hits.  I haven’t officially started advertising my book because the ISBN for the book I want to advertise hasn’t come through so it is not available yet. And the other book, The Theory of Actuality, isn’t one of those books that you advertise, or expect people to really like. So I want to advertise the other book first, so right now I can’t advertise anything. So they were actually 100% wrong in their judgment of my character, or at least the judgment they openly admitted to.

P.S. I am a member of 7 other forums I don’t get banned for all the forums I join or anything.

Cool, more great programing from 3abn.

I’ll probably be watching all day, I occasionally switch to www.amazingfacts.tv.

It’s a good way to spend the Sabbath.

To reiterate…

No gay person can go to heaven because God sees all people equally and asks Christians to treat all people equally.

If there is no man or woman, free or bond in Christ, Galatians 3:28, then a person cannot state, “I refuse to have a strong emotional bond with a woman, or a strong emotional bond with men.” If it is possible for a homosexual to have a strong emotional bond with a woman then it is imperative that the male marry a woman.  If it is impossible for that male to have a strong bond with a woman then it would be called hatred. If lesbians hate men then the love of God is not in them, 1 John 4:20, and they with this whole world will be cursed with a curse for speaking against the father.(Malachi 4:5,6)  They will be cast into unquenchable fire where they will burn into eons and eons. (Revelation 20:10)

This argument ignores sexuality as a cause of love, Christianity does not need to regard sexual orientation. Regardless of your orientation you have to do what is right for the human race. The funny thing is homosexuals like Gene Robinson like to mock Christians saying, Christians would not care about homosexuals if they knew what happened in the bedroom, absolutely nothing! (Except sleep.) Based on this argument they themselves want us to ignore their sexuality, lol! Okay, if you say so!
